Game Devision
an asymmetrical 2-player cooperative Live Action Role Playing Game
asymmetrical gameplay
One player controls the Knight, experiencing familiar action RPG gameplay. The other player is the Squire, who must manage a physical inventory of items and keep up by running alongside the knight. Communication is key.

live action role playing game
The Squire interacts with the game entirely through physical objects. Their footsteps are measured to keep pace with the knight, and they must use potions, sigils, keys, scrolls, and coconuts to interact. The Knight cannot get far without their trusty squire.
unique hardware
My first piece of hardware design. Lexan sheets press against basic FSRs wired into a reflashed RP2040 with GP2040-CE firmware to behave like a second controller. Rugged and functional. We added the Squirrel feet design once the character art was established.
scurrying squirrel
The Squire is the spirit of the party. They carry the knight's entire arsenal in real life. Armed with potions, scrolls, sigils, keys, and a pair of coconuts, the squire must sprint alongside the action, communicate constantly, and stay one step ahead of the dungeon's demands.
kitty nobility
The Knight is a brave cat warrior facing the dangerous wilds in classic action-RPG style. They cast spells, fight enemies, and navigate dungeons with the constant support of their squire. Without the right item at the right moment, the knight falls.
